Follow this guide to connect Stripe to Core8. It covers required permissions, the exact configuration steps, and how to verify the sync.

What you’ll do

  • Connect Stripe to Core8 using an API key.
  • Configure invoice sync behavior and filters.
  • Verify imported data and troubleshoot common issues.

Availability

  • Only managers can manage integrations.
  • Open Settings → Integrations (URL: /{orgId}/integrations).
  • Some integrations may be disabled in your organization. If the Stripe tile is disabled, contact Core8 support.

Connect Stripe

  1. In Stripe, open Developers → API keys and copy your Secret key (sk_...).
    • If you are connecting a Stripe test environment, use a test-mode secret key (sk_test_...).
  2. In Core8, open Settings → Integrations and click the Stripe tile.
  3. In the Connection tab, paste the Stripe secret key into API Key and click Connect.
  4. Confirm the status shows Connected.
After connecting, open the Configuration tab on the Stripe integration page and review:
  • Invoice collection method (charge automatically vs send invoice)
  • Invoice sync condition expression (controls which invoices Core8 syncs)

Sync data into Core8

After connecting:
  1. Go back to Settings → Integrations.
  2. Click Read Integrations Data.
