This page is for assignment maintenance at scale: find coverage gaps with the stats cards, then bulk add/remove plans and retry failures.

What you can do on this page

  • Use stats cards to find gaps (with plans vs without plans).
  • Search and filter team members by assignment state.
  • Remove plans from a single user (mark for removal and confirm).
  • Bulk add and remove plans in one pass for migrations.
  • Troubleshoot and retry failed bulk operations.
  • Bulk add/remove: runs one or more mutations and reports combined results.
  • Failures: permission/validation errors surface per-user; successful rows still apply.
  • Audit: assignment history links provide traceability over time.
  • How to verify: see How to verify bulk changes took effect below.
  • If it fails: review per-user failures in the result summary, keep failed users selected, and retry.

Use the stats cards

At the top of the page, Core8 shows assignment coverage:
  • total team members
  • users with plans
  • users without plans
  • number of active (public) plans
Click a card to filter the table.
  • Use the search box to find team members by name/email/employee code.
  • Filter to show with plans or without plans to focus on gaps.

Remove plans (single user)

When you open Assign for a single team member, Core8 shows their Current Plans at the top of the modal.
  1. Mark one or more current plans for removal.
  2. Click Remove … (or Update Plans… if you’re adding and removing in one pass).

Bulk add + remove in one pass

For bulk workflows (for example, migrating reps to a new plan version), you can:
  • bulk assign one or more plans, and
  • bulk remove prior plans.
Core8 reports a combined success/failure summary when both operations finish.

How to verify bulk changes took effect

  • Refresh the table and confirm the stats cards and each user’s current plans reflect the change.
  • Spot-check one user using assignment history (before/after) to confirm the effective window looks right.
  • If you’re changing assignments to affect calculation, validate on one known deal using Calculation → Plan Selection before you roll changes out broadly.

Troubleshooting

  • If some users fail in bulk operations, Core8 keeps the failed users selected so you can retry.
  • Permission and “already assigned” errors are surfaced in the result summary.

Common issues

  • A deal is using the wrong plan: check overlapping assignments and effective dates; Core8 chooses based on your plan selection/timing rules.
  • I cannot edit an assignment: the period may be locked/frozen or you lack permission; confirm your role and period state.
  • Changes did not propagate: re-run calculation for a small deal set to validate, then expand.
